Deloitte Digital is Australia's leading digital consultancy and design studio. Our Customer Strategy and Applied Design team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Strategy Consultant to join and support our continued growth.
As a Customer Strategy Consultant at Deloitte Digital, you will use your 2-4 years of prior consulting or customer/digital agency experience to deliver key streams of work in customer strategy engagements, helping to support our client’s growth through the development of clear and robust customer strategies, digital and customer transformations, and compelling customer propositions.

Your responsibilities
As a Customer Strategy Consultant, you will be considered a safe pair of hands who can deliver solutions to complex problems, to high standards, and on-time.
You will need to:
Be trusted to own and deliver significant stream(s) of work in engagements, and supporting the execution of key deliverables with your project team
Work collaboratively across a wide variety of stakeholders – supporting senior colleagues with high quality work, guiding junior colleagues and building strong client relationships
Bring strong structured problem solving, quantitative research, financial analysis and/or business process skills that can be applied to customer strategy work
Learn and apply the core craft of the team in formulating customer led strategies, with a focus on market analysis, deep customer insight, customer proposition development, business casing and driving change
Execute research to help inform choices made with customer, digital and innovation strategies, including analysis and synthesis of data to generate customer insights to apply to the improvement of meeting customer needs
Determine the digital and experience return on investment contributing to the development of financial modelling, dashboard and metrics development e.g. for digital marketing investments
Use data to drive insights and analytics, and shape recommendations for our clients
Pursue constant learning and self-development across projects and internal training programs
Your experience

University degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school
2-4 years’ experience in Consulting, ideally in a leading consulting firm, digital/ design agency or within a public sector / industry equivalent
Exceptional analytical, design and / or problem-solving skills
Exposure to working in digital project teams in a client-facing environment
Demonstrated ability building strong relationships with others, and working collaboratively in teams
Experience and interests in the use of human-centred design, current use of technology including digital marketing, mobile, data analytics and an understanding of emerging trends and technologies as they relate to strategy (e.g. digital, cloud, AI)
Comfort with data – both from a programming (knowledge of SQL, Python etc.) and visualisation (e.g. PowerBI or Tableau) standpoint – is preferable, but not necessary
The desire to work on pioneering and enduring change for clients and communities

Comfortable with a non-linear process, comfort in ambiguity, and flexibility to adjust as things shift
